Aimee & Luke ~ Gabbinbar Homestead wedding

One of the things I love most about this work I do is the people I get to connect with.  As I type this, I’m sitting in the living room of Sonya & Brad, sharing a bottle of wine with this gorgeous couple, whose wedding I shot more than four years ago.  Four years, a book club, a magazine, countless dinners, a beautiful friendship formed…  One that’s traveled all the way to the other side of the world.

You’re probably wondering why I’m typing all of this about Sonya & Brad, when this post actually has nothing to do with them.  This is about Aimee & Luke.  You see, Sonya & Brad’s wedding was the first of a string of weddings I would go onto shoot, out of which many beautiful friendships would blossom.

At Aimee & Luke’s wedding, at the gorgeous Gabbinbar Homestead, there was one table of five couples, all of whose weddings I had photographed over the last four years.  It blew my mind, filled me with pride, and a whole lot of joy.

Yep, I love my job.
